mma Stone and her husband, comedy writer Dave McCary, are putting their Austin, Texas home on the market for $26.5 million. The actress purchased the property in 2021 and spent three years renovating it before listing it with agents Eric Moreland and Diane Humphreys of Moreland Properties/Forbes Global Properties.
The home, built around 1940, is one of the oldest estates in the area and features a Georgian-style design with a tan brick exterior, black shutters, and a stone staircase. Inside, visitors will find a spacious living area with Herringbone oak hardwood floors, wood walls, and a wood-burning fireplace.
The kitchen was renovated to create an open layout with a large center island, second sink, and additional counter space. The home also features a blue wood-paneled library, playroom, and two unique staircases leading to the upper levels.
Upstairs, the primary bedroom includes a walk-in closet and luxurious ensuite bathroom with a soaking tub and standing shower. A screened-in sunroom offers floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the swimming pool.
The backyard features a cutting garden, fairy garden, and lawn space for gatherings and children's playtime. The property also includes a two-bedroom guesthouse with its own kitchen, living room, and stone path leading to it. Above the garage is a screening room and bar area with built-in wooden shelves and a large bar.
The 1.24-acre property offers over 10,000 square feet of livable space, four bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and an additional two-bedroom guest house.
