Alec Baldwin's Hamptons house re‑listed for $21M

Built in the 1700s, updated twice, last restored in 2017, says the listing agent.

A
lec Baldwin’s Amagansett estate has re‑entered the market, now listed for $21 million. The 9,000‑square‑foot home contains five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, with annual taxes of $48,388. The property was withdrawn from sale in late summer/early fall of last year after a brief listing at just under $19 million in January 2024, and no changes have been made to the house itself.

Spanning five acres and overlooking more than three acres of agricultural reserve, the lot offers a rare opportunity in East Hampton to add a guest house or secondary dwelling. The original 1700s structure has been restored twice, most recently in 2017, a costly effort that buyers value for its continuity and historical integrity.

The house served as the backdrop for TLC’s reality series “The Baldwins,” which premiered earlier this year and showcased the family’s life in Amagansett and the surrounding East End. In a YouTube tour, Baldwin, who bought the home in December 1995, highlighted a large sliding wood door on the second‑floor hallway as a favorite—and humorous—feature. Other highlights include two upper‑level balconies, a wood‑paneled library, a wine‑tasting room, a home theater, and a 20‑by‑50‑foot pool with spa. The backyard also hosts a 625‑square‑foot pavilion and a stone fireplace.

“Buyers at this price point recognize the value of such rich history,” said listing agent Scott Bradley of Saunders & Associates. “It’s a true restoration that sets this property apart.”

Rachel Weiss, a Newsday real‑estate and lifestyle reporter since 2016, contributed to the coverage and appeared in on‑camera segments, including the show’s “LI Acts of Kindness” series.
