ist Co., Ltd. announces that its consolidated subsidiary, List Development Co., Ltd., has entered into a hotel management agreement with Royal Minor Hotels on July 10, 2025. The partnership marks the entry of Anantara brand into Japan and plans for a luxury resort hotel in Karuizawa, Nagano Prefecture, scheduled to open in 2030. Nestled in approximately 40,000 square meters of forestland, the resort will feature 51 guest accommodations, including suites and villas, and be developed as a premium luxury retreat.

The company has focused on hotel condominiums and luxury residences in recent years, with its first completed project being a hotel condominium in Hakuba Village, Nagano Prefecture, in December 2024. Anantara Karuizawa Retreat will offer nature-led escapes, leveraging the region's year-round natural beauty and connectivity to Tokyo.
The property's location near the Karuizawa Hokuriku Shinkansen Station provides convenient access from Tokyo and nearby cities such as Nagano, Kanazawa, and Maebashi. Karuizawa is a popular weekend getaway known for its cool climate in summer and abundant outdoor attractions, including parks, golf courses, forests, hiking trails, hot springs, and skiing.
