Andy Cohen Says Goodbye to His Beloved NYC Dream Home After 21 Years

Ryan Serhant, a former "MDLNY" alumnus, has been tapped by the Bravo titan to sell its properties.

A
ndy Cohen, a prominent figure in Bravo TV, has decided to part ways with his luxurious Manhattan pad after spending 21 years transforming four separate apartments into a stunning 3,500-square-foot masterpiece. The property is now on the market for a cool $14 million, with Ryan Serhant, a celebrity broker and longtime friend of Cohen, handling the listing.

Cohen's home is a dream come true: a two-story space filled with natural light, featuring three bedrooms, an office, and even a nanny suite, perfect for his young children, Ben (5) and Lucy (2). The property is a unique blend of four combined apartments, offering a luxurious two-story space with a custom staircase, fireplaces, a steam room, and ample closet space. The interior design is a vibrant mix of colors, including a Paul Smith striped sofa and a denim loveseat.

Serhant, who has known Cohen for over a decade since he debuted on Bravo's "Million Dollar Listing New York," was blown away when he first saw the property. He expressed his desire to purchase the property, stating, "Whenever you are willing to part with this, even if I have to pull it from your grip, please let me know. Because it’s a one of one."

Cohen has decided to move on to embrace new horizons, leaving behind his carefully curated home. Serhant believes that this property is one-of-a-kind, masterfully curated with unreal closet and storage space. The apartment boasts 25 windows with unobstructed views, providing a stunning panoramic view of the city.

The apartment has served as a party pad for A-list guests like Madonna, Sarah Jessica Parker, John Mayer, and Kelly Ripa. However, during the pandemic in 2020, social gatherings paused, and Cohen and Serhant bonded over something else: their older kids, who were born just weeks apart. During one of their lockdown playdates, Cohen casually asked Serhant what he would list the home for. Serhant had been waiting for this moment his whole career.

"It’s like moving into a magazine," he said.

Cohen's decision to sell wasn't easy, but he found a new dream - a penthouse just four minutes away with 3,000 square feet of indoor space and a 2,000-square-foot terrace. While Cohen's former home hits the market, there's speculation it might also star in an episode of Serhant's Netflix show, "Owning Manhattan," which was recently renewed for a second season. When asked about this possibility, Serhant played coy, saying, "Bravo and Netflix might have an issue with that...but it would be like Deadpool and Wolverine, real estate style. That’s basically the two of us."
