omebuyers are cutting thousands of dollars by bypassing real‑estate agents and using AI to handle every step of the purchase. In Florida, the New York Post reports that at least ten homes have been bought entirely through the Homa platform, with several more in escrow. The system lets buyers search listings, submit offers, and draft contracts on their own, eliminating the 2.5%‑to‑3% commission that agents normally charge. A Tampa Bay homeowner claimed a $10,500 saving on the buyer’s‑agent fee, while a Vero Beach buyer reported $8,000 in savings.

DJ, 32, bought a $420,000 Tampa Bay home via Homa. “I just followed the step‑by‑step guide and ended up saving at least 2.5% on the purchase price,” he said. Vicki Lynn, another user, described the contract interface as “like TurboTax—fill in the blanks, very straightforward.”

Arman Javaherian, former senior product director at Zillow, founded Homa after witnessing the inefficiencies of the traditional process. “Buyers do the legwork and then agents take huge commissions,” he explained. The platform offers a free tier and a paid option at $1,995 that includes a licensed broker to protect buyers from double commissions. The paid tier also safeguards against listing agents attempting to pocket fees from both sides.

By making the entire transaction transparent, Homa is reshaping how people buy homes.
