Argentine Polo Star Nacho Figueras and Son Set to Buy Miami Luxury Condo

Argentine polo champion and son to reside in Jean-Georges' Miami Tropic Residences.

P
rince Harry's close friend, Nacho Figueras, and his son Hilario are set to purchase a luxurious residence at Jean-Georges Miami Tropic Residences. The three-bedroom, 3.5-bath unit, which will serve as Hilario's pied-à-terre in Miami, was listed for $3.1 million.

Nacho Figueras, an Argentine polo legend and philanthropist, splits his time between Palm Beach, Argentina, and other US cities like Aspen and Santa Barbara with his wife Delfina. Their 25-year-old son Hilario is a skilled polo player and the eldest of their four children.

The Miami Tropic Residences, designed by Arquitectonica and developed by Terra and Lion, boasts 329 condos, retail space, and 41,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities. The building's sleek design features private elevators, massive terraces with city views, and spa-like bath retreats.

Hilario discovered the property and brought it to his father's attention, citing the building's walkability, elegance, and vibrant culture as major draws. Nacho Figueras praised the development for catering to polo players' needs, while Hilario highlighted the private Jean-Georges restaurant on the eighth floor as a favorite feature.

The residence itself will have 11-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, and a chef's kitchen co-designed by Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. For added convenience, owners can arrange for a private chef or have their fridge stocked with curated items before arrival. The building is set to be completed in 2028.
