Baltimore condo once owned by Kevin Spacey sees $2M price drop

Spacey's Inner Harbor condo sold at foreclosure auction, now its new owner faces resale challenges.

K
evin Spacey's former Baltimore condo is still on the market, despite a significant price cut. The five-story property was listed in February for $6 million after the actor lost it to foreclosure. Since then, the asking price has been reduced by over $2 million, with the latest discount totaling more than $300,000.

The current price of $4.19 million makes this home one of the priciest listings in Baltimore. The condo offers luxury amenities, including a chef's kitchen, a nine-seat home theater, and a personal sauna. Its prime location at the end of a private pier provides stunning views of the city.

Spacey purchased the 9,000-square-foot property for $5.65 million in early 2017. His Netflix drama "House of Cards" was filmed in Baltimore, but it ended in 2018 due to allegations of sexual misconduct against Spacey. He denied the allegations and has since faced various lawsuits and settlements.

The condo's listing representative, Compass broker Sam Sheibani, initially expected a local executive or even Orioles owner David Rubenstein to purchase the property. However, despite its luxurious features and prime location, the home remains unsold. A previous attempt to rent it out for $35,000 was also unsuccessful.
