t. John Properties, a Baltimore-based commercial real estate development and management company, has launched a multifamily construction division to expand its presence in the market. The new division will be led by Michael Poirot, a seasoned construction management industry veteran with over 20 years of experience.

    Poirot's background includes overseeing the construction of more than 1,400 multifamily units and 122 hotel rooms worth nearly $400 million. He has worked on projects in Maryland counties such as Baltimore, Anne Arundel, and Prince George's.

    The company plans to leverage Poirot's expertise to develop additional multifamily properties in Maryland, with the goal of eventually expanding the division nationwide where St. John Properties has a presence. The new division is part of the company's long-term strategy to capitalize on the multifamily sector and reduce development costs.
