Bel-Air mansion has changed hands between two billionaires. Nick Molnar's entity, LaPro Property Trust, sold the Richard Manion-designed property to H. Roger Wang and his wife Vivine for $36.4 million. The six-bedroom, eight-bathroom estate features a fireplace lounge, professional fitness studio, and outdoor patio with barrel sauna. Molnar acquired the home in 2022 from hotelier Sam Nazarian for $34.8 million.
Wang, head of Chinese development firm Golden Eagle International, has a net worth of $2.5 billion according to Forbes. He built his fortune building condominium projects in Los Angeles and now focuses on mall and office developments in eastern China. This transaction closed on November 13th.
Molnar recently made headlines with the $65 million purchase of the "Funny Girl Estate" in Holmby Hills from British singer Robbie Williams. The property, built for comedian Fanny Brice in 1938, was previously the most expensive home sale in Los Angeles County this year.
