ell Partners has acquired Quinn35, a 250-unit apartment community in Shrewsbury, MA. The property was purchased on behalf of Bell's Value-Add Fund VIII and will be rebranded as Bell Shrewsbury.
Located at 35 Harrington Ave., the community is situated near Downtown Worcester, UMass Medical Center, and the 495/MetroWest corridor within the Lakeway Commons Lifestyle Center. Amenities include a modern clubhouse, detached garages, electric vehicle charging stations, a fitness center, recreation room with billiards, dog park, outdoor lounge, and heated pool.
"We're excited to enhance our customer experience initiatives at Bell Shrewsbury," said Cindy Clare, chief operating officer for Bell Partners. "Upgrades are planned for individual apartment homes and common areas to deliver a superior living experience."
The acquisition supports Bell's strategy of finding opportunities to add value-enhancing upgrades that appeal to residents and meet investment objectives in target markets like Boston. Simon Butler, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of CBRE's Northeast & Mid-Atlantic region, brokered the transaction.
With this acquisition, Bell Partners now owns or manages approximately 3,600 apartment homes across nine communities in the Boston metropolitan area.
