elena Gomez and Benny Blanco are taking their relationship to new heights with a stunning home purchase in Beverly Hills. The power couple paid $35 million for a sprawling Spanish-style estate, one of the priciest deals in the city last year.
The lavish property, previously owned by director Todd Phillips, had been on the market for just over a month before Gomez and Blanco snapped it up. Phillips bought the home from Paradigm Talent Agency Chairman Sam Gores in 2012 for $17.25 million and sold it to himself in 2021 for $31 million.
The estate boasts an impressive 7-9,000 square feet of living space, featuring seven bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a pool, spa, and home theater. Other luxury amenities include a grand spiral staircase, wood-paneled library, fitness center, greenhouse, and fairytale-style playroom.
Gomez and Blanco announced their engagement just days after purchasing the property in early December. The gated estate sits on one of Beverly Hills' most coveted streets, described as a "rare double lot" spanning nearly an acre.
The couple's new home is a far cry from Blanco's quirky 1930s-style residence where they recorded their upcoming joint album, "I Said I Love You First," set to release on March 21. In an interview with Interview magazine, the pair revealed that their unconventional recording process often took place in relaxed settings, with Gomez lounging around and recording much of the album while snuggled up under blankets.
