ethenny Frankel has sold her historic Connecticut home, Applejack Farm, for a significant profit. The reality star and Skinnygirl mogul purchased the 282-year-old estate in 2021 for $4.25 million and recently sold it to an undisclosed buyer for $7.82 million through Corcoran Centric Realty's Jeff Jackson.
Frankel had transformed the property into a family compound, adding sleek upgrades and pops of color while preserving its rich history. The home, which spans over 3 acres, boasts a nearly 300-year-old history in affluent Greenwich and has been inhabited by only 20 families since the 1700s.
The gated compound features a five-bedroom main house with a La Cornue-equipped kitchen, a sunny primary suite, and a gym. Additional amenities include a two-bedroom guest cottage, a standalone studio, and a separate "party barn." Frankel's contemporary touches, such as patterned wallpapers and sleek kitchen upgrades, complement the home's original architectural details.
The sale comes as Frankel departs the Northeast for Florida, where she has announced plans to relocate. Despite buying a new home base in the Sunshine State, Frankel intends to maintain her residences in Southampton and New York City. The successful sale was facilitated by Jackson, who noted that properties with Applejack Farm's level of attention to detail and architectural distinction are rare.
Frankel had initially sought $8 million for the property before selling it for a tidy profit. The buyer was represented by Martha Z. Jeffrey & Anne Z. Ogilvy of Sotheby's International Realty in an off-market exchange.
