Beverly Hills leads LA County in luxury deals, with 23 homes under contract and $157.4M in ask volume last week.

everly Hills led Los Angeles County in luxury deals last week, ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday and Election Day slowdown. The Eklund Gomes team's weekly roundup reported 23 homes under contract, totaling $157.4 million in asking dollar volume for the period ending Nov. 24.

    This is a significant increase from the previous week, when 12 contracts were recorded with an asking dollar volume of $81 million. The top contract was a Trousdale Estates home at 534 Chalette Drive, listed for just under $18 million. The six-bed, seven-bath property totals 6,231 square feet and features ocean views, a glass-blown sculpture, and over $100,000 in included furniture and art.

    Beverly Hills also saw the second-largest contract last week, a Mediterranean-style home at 1121 Marilyn Drive listed for nearly $11 million. The six-bed, eight-bath property totals an undisclosed amount of square footage and features a two-story entrance, media room, gym, gardens, and barbeque area.
