isch Properties has unveiled the design for a 13-story apartment building seeking builder's remedy approval in Beverly Hills. The locally based developer filed plans this spring for the 75-unit complex at 9441 West Olympic Boulevard and has now revealed its Streamline-Moderne-inspired design, according to Urbanize Los Angeles.
The building will replace a commercial property on the corner of Olympic and Beverly Drive and joins another project proposed on the same site. The highrise would contain 190,000 square feet of space with 75 apartments, including 15 affordable units for an unspecified income category. The building features floor-to-ceiling windows, wrap-around balconies, and a rooftop deck.
Ottinger Architects designed the building, which will also include 4,000 square feet of ground-floor shops and restaurants. "We've integrated the site's curves into an architectural expression that brings a residential feel to this bustling intersection," said the architect in a social media post.
Fisch Properties is owned by the children and grandchildren of its founders, Len and Selma Fisch, who have properties across Los Angeles County. The company is also developing an eight-story apartment complex with a supermarket in Beverly Hills, designed by Ottinger Architects and using the builder's remedy loophole.
