etter Homes and Gardens® Real Estate has launched a new partnership in North Carolina. The newly formed firm, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Integrity Partners, is headquartered in downtown Asheville and expands the brand’s footprint in the region, adding to its existing offices that already serve Asheville and surrounding communities.
The brokerage is co‑led by Rachel Brown and Coker Metcalf. Brown earned her real‑estate license in 2016 and rose to a leadership role at a regional brokerage five years later, serving as broker‑in‑charge and overseeing all operations. She also presides over the Land of the Sky Association of REALTORS®. Metcalf, a native of Asheville, transitioned from local law enforcement to real estate in 2021 and brings a background in general contracting, giving him insight into new construction and renovation projects.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Rachel and Coker to our growing network in Western North Carolina,” said Ginger Wilcox, president of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate LLC. “Their leadership will complement the strong foundation already established by our affiliates in the region. They have each been extremely successful in their prior roles, and we’re confident that will translate to their new positions at their own brokerage.”
Brown and Metcalf will serve homebuyers and sellers from Hendersonville to Burnsville. “From the start, we aim to set ourselves apart with high standards for exceptional client experience built on trust, transparency, and service,” Brown says. “While we grow, we’ll never compromise those principles. Our business will be a true family‑based environment, evident in the joy we show while serving our community.”
Both leaders are known for integrity and excellence, aligning with the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate brand. They plan to leverage the brand’s reputation and technology to attract like‑minded individuals. Their growth strategy includes opening a second office before year’s end and expanding further south in 2026.
“We can confidently help clients navigate the nuances of Western North Carolina real estate and love helping others experience the same place we call home,” Metcalf notes. “This is a great place to live and raise a family, and we’ll always go the extra mile to help others find their dream home here.”
