Boca Raton seeks Street firms after Mamdani's $15M Supercar Showcase

Low‑tax, warm states lure major firms' large units from the Northeast.

F
ollowing Zohran Mamdani’s decisive win, a high‑profile event in Boca Raton is set to entice Wall Street firms to South Florida. The program features a $15 million super‑car display and an awards ceremony celebrating the region’s palm‑tree scenery and upscale lifestyle. Warm, low‑tax destinations across the U.S. have already attracted major firms from the Northeast, including Citadel’s Miami headquarters. Boca Raton, once quiet, now tops West Palm in leasing, hosting about 40 NYSE and Nasdaq‑listed companies in its former Golden Triangle, now Midtown.

Next month, mega‑developer Stephen M. Ross will be honored at “The Wall Street South Experience,” also called “Meet the Disrupters of Wall Street South,” on Dec. 2‑3. The event, curated by Michelle Soudry of Gab Group PR, is backed by Noble Capital Markets, The Money Channel NYC, Nasdaq, NYSE, and Bloomberg. Nasdaq will spotlight the gathering on its Times Square digital billboard. Keynote speaker Bret Baier of Fox News will open the program, joined by three Shark Tank regulars.

Soudry said the timing was perfect for Wall Street to connect with South Florida’s emerging finance, tech, crypto, and real‑estate leaders. Delegations from 200 New York‑area firms—including Medallion Financial, BCP Investment, and DocGo—will attend. Other guests include former Florida Panthers owner Cliff Viner, diamond entrepreneur David Rosenberg, and Arizona Ice Tea founder John Ferolito. The “Golden Bull” awards will honor figures such as Stephen M. Ross, Florida Lt. Gov. Jay Collins, and former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson.
