9-acre site at 0 Summer Street in Abington, MA has been sold to Wood Partners. The property, fully permitted for 198 units across 277,186 gross square feet, was secured by Caroline Ligotti, Linda Redeker, and Emily McGranaghan of Boston City Group, Inc. at Coldwell Banker Commercial.
Wood Partners, a national multifamily developer based in Atlanta, has made significant strides in the Greater Boston market over the past decade. The company received final approvals from Abington's ZBA and Conservation Commission earlier this year to build Alta Abington Station, a five-story Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) adjacent to an MBTA Commuter Rail Station.
The project, built under Chapter 40B with 25% affordable units, will feature amenities such as a swimming pool, fitness center, courtyard, and dog park. As one of the largest multifamily developments approved in Boston's South Shore Route 3 Corridor recently, Alta Abington Station is poised to make a significant impact on the local market.
