Groundbreaking took place in March 2022, with a topping-out expected in October 2023 and completion anticipated in 2025. 10 World Trade is targeting several prestigious certifications, including LEED Gold, WELL Platinum, and WiredScore Platinum.
The design by Sasaki prioritizes connectivity and community engagement, featuring a 45-foot atrium on the ground floor and a rooftop indoor track with panoramic views of the city. The building's smart design includes touchless systems and energy-saving measures to promote tenant wellness and sustainability.
BGI's development team incorporates minority- and women-owned firms, and the project is one of the first to use the "Massport Model" for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Located adjacent to the MBTA World Trade Center Silver Line station, 10 World Trade offers direct access to public transportation and is within walking distance of downtown Boston.
The total estimated cost for the project is $596.6 million, with completion expected in 2025.
