Luka Dončić's departure from the Dallas Mavericks has left a void in the hearts of fans, but it also raises an intriguing question: what will happen to his stunning Preston Hollow home? With four bedrooms, four and a half baths, and a four-car garage, this Dallas modernist house is a true gem. And with its prime location on a quiet cul-de-sac just a five-minute drive from Mark Cuban's home, it's no wonder Luka fell in love with it. The property is valued at $3.875 million, according to the Dallas Central Appraisal District.
But what about the commercial real estate implications of this trade? As we reported earlier, the Adelson family's purchase of a majority stake in the Mavericks has raised questions about their influence in Texas and potential plans for casino resorts. The fact that they purchased 260 acres in Irving near the former Texas Stadium site in July 2023 has sparked speculation about their intentions.
While casinos remain illegal in Texas, Las Vegas Sands has been actively lobbying lawmakers to change that. And with the Adelsons' involvement in the Mavericks, it's possible that we could see a shift in the state's stance on gaming. Only time will tell how this plays out.
