$33 million penthouse sale in Miami-Dade County boosted condo sales last week. Brokers closed 112 deals worth a total of $87.7 million from October 20th to October 27th, up from the previous week's 111 sales totaling $78.4 million. The average price per unit was $782,730, higher than the previous week's $706,659.
The top sale was Unit PH56 at Echo Brickell, which sold for a record-breaking $33 million after 272 days on the market. The buyer, billionaire Robert Duggan and his partner Dr. Mahkam Zanganeh, purchased the unit from Greg Kiley for $2,982 per square foot.
The second-highest sale was Unit 2302 at Missoni Baia in Miami's Edgewater neighborhood, which sold for $2.3 million or $980 per square foot after just nine days on the market. The top 10 sales ranged from $1 million to $33 million, with prices averaging $478 per square foot.
