S
usana Wu and Donna Wu, childhood friends turned business partners, are set to open the first Paris Baguette café in Brooklyn in early 2025. The duo has secured real estate at 532 5th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11215, marking a significant milestone in their journey as co-franchisees of the brand.

As best friends since they were 16, Susana and Donna have now joined forces with business partner Ryan Zhao to bring Paris Baguette's unique fusion of French and Asian bakery items to the Park Slope community. Their decision to franchise with Paris Baguette was driven by a shared love for the brand's products and a desire to introduce something new and diverse to the area.

"We're excited to bring this concept to Brooklyn," said Donna. "Paris Baguette is known for its creative pastries, but it's not typically found in neighborhoods like ours. We want to make it more accessible and inclusive."

The Brooklyn location will be Paris Baguette's 37th café in New York, with plans to expand further in the future. As part of their growth strategy, Paris Baguette aims to reach 1,000 units in the US by 2030 through partnerships with local entrepreneurs who share its vision.

"We're on a mission to re-establish the neighborhood bakery café as the heart of the community," said Darren Tipton, CEO of Paris Baguette. "Susana and Donna will bring this to life in their local trade area, and we're excited to see them thrive."

Paris Baguette is committed to creating unique consumer experiences and fostering a sense of community through its "Love Baked In" programs, which support local charitable initiatives. With a projected 1,000 locations across the US by 2030, Paris Baguette is poised to become a leader in the hospitality industry.
