Broward County Condo Sales and Dollar Volume Decline in Second Week of December

ondo sales in Broward County slowed down in the second week of December. From Dec. 8 to Dec. 15, brokers closed 117 condo sales worth $36.6 million, a decrease from the previous week's 154 sales totaling $58.4 million. The average sale price dropped to $312,735, down from $379,013 in the prior week.

    According to Redfin data, the average price per square foot increased to $432 from $287. The top 10 condo sales ranged from $575,000 to $2.1 million. Unit 801 at Riva in Fort Lauderdale led the list with a $2.1 million closing, or $852 per square foot after 44 days on the market.

    The second-highest sale was unit 302 at Aqualuna Las Olas, which closed for $1.9 million, or $724 per square foot after 228 days on the market. The buyer and seller were represented by Sherri Pfefer and Megan Pfefer with Coldwell Banker Realty.
