roward County's condo market experienced a decline over Thanksgiving week. From November 24th to December 1st, brokers closed 83 condo sales totaling $32.3 million, down from the previous week's 119 sales worth $34.3 million.
The average sale price increased to $388,858, surpassing the previous week's average of $288,204. The average price per square foot rose to $301 from $261, according to Redfin data. Top-end prices ranged from $580,000 to $4.5 million, with Unit 803 at Solemar in Pompano Beach taking the top spot at $4.5 million.
This sale occurred after 299 days on the market and priced at $1,099 per square foot. Michelle Nunez with Fortune International Realty and Megan Probst with Compass Florida handled both sides of the deal. Unit 1803 at Solemar came in second, selling for $2.3 million or $1,220 per square foot.
