etter Homes and Gardens Real Estate has expanded its Trendmaker Accreditation program nationwide, building on a successful 2024 pilot. The training program equips affiliated brokers and agents with insights into consumer behavior, home design trends, and lifestyle factors that influence the real estate market.
The curriculum draws from experts in the industry, including magazine editors, economic analysts, and other professionals. Topics cover smart-home technology, outdoor living, staging strategies, and home construction. By connecting the trusted Better Homes & Gardens brand with its network of affiliated agents, the company aims to deliver unparalleled value to today's lifestyle-driven consumers.
The program is led by Ginger Wilcox, president of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, along with Karrie-Ann Sheppard and Leah Wright. Industry contributors include Lauren Bengtson from Better Homes & Gardens and Caleb Silver from Investopedia. Agents who complete the course earn the title of Home Trend Specialist.
The training covers design trends, consumer psychology, and marketing application. It includes workshops on integrating trend insights into listing presentations and social media content. Agents like Nichole Fecteau praise the program for its informative content and practical applications. "Staying ahead of the curve in style and innovation empowers me to better guide my clients," she said.
To stay up-to-date with market trends, the brand also conducts bi-monthly polls of affiliated agents. This real-time feedback helps inform the Trendmaker Accreditation program and ensure it remains relevant to the ever-changing real estate landscape.
