rin Toomey has been named Chief Human Resources Officer at Cambridge Savings Bank (CSB), a community bank with $7 billion in assets that prioritizes customer service. With more than 25 years of experience in human‑capital strategy across dental, financial, and corporate sectors, Toomey joins CSB during a critical phase of growth and cultural change.
As CHRO, Toomey will design and implement HR programs that support CSB’s goal of a high‑performing, inclusive, and engaged workforce. Her focus will be on recruiting top talent, expanding employee development, and maintaining a culture that empowers staff to excel. “I was drawn to CSB’s reputation for empowering employees to make an impact inside the bank and in the community,” she said. “I look forward to working with leadership and staff to introduce new talent‑development methods, broaden growth opportunities, and strengthen the culture that inspires and supports our people daily.”
Toomey’s background includes senior HR roles at Advantage Dental Plus, DentaQuest, State Street Corporation, and Bank of America. Most recently she led HR at Advantage Dental Plus, driving transformation through values‑based leadership and modern HR practices. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Boston College.
CEO Ryan Bailey welcomed Toomey as a strategic addition to CSB’s leadership. “Her deep HR expertise and proven talent‑strategy skills are essential as we invest in our people, reinforce our culture, and create an environment where employees thrive and deliver exceptional customer experiences,” Bailey said. Since taking the helm in February 2024, Bailey has added Ian Brandon (Chief Commercial Banking Officer), Kevin McGuire (Chief Operating Officer), Dan Carey (Chief Financial Officer), and Angela Conti (Head of Consumer and Small Business Banking) to the executive team.
