olliers facilitated the sale of the Cambridge Matignon School campus to Benjamin Banneker Charter Public School. The 83,136 square foot property spans 7.8 acres in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

    A Colliers team led by Vice Chair James Elcock and Vice President John Real represented the sellers, the Archdiocese of Boston, in the transaction. This sale marks a significant transition for Matignon High School, which was known for its academic excellence and commitment to the local community. The school's hockey program won 10 state championships and produced several collegiate and NHL players.

    The property at 1 Matignon Road includes playing fields, science labs, an auditorium, and a gymnasium. Two buildings constructed in 1945 were previously leased and have now been sold. "We're proud to have worked with the community and alumni to ensure a smooth transition," said James Elcock. "This campus will continue to make a positive impact on the Cambridge community."

    Benjamin Banneker Charter Public School, founded in 2012, serves students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. The school aims to foster high-order thinking and promote excellence while maintaining a diverse learning environment. "We're excited for our new home at Matignon Road," said Sherley E. Bretous, Executive Director of Benjamin Banneker Charter Public School.
