he Cass County Board of Supervisors has approved the purchase of a property at 58424 630th Avenue near Atlantic for a new Secondary Roads Maintenance Facility. Engineer Trent Wolken explained that the county had been looking to replace existing buildings, but this opportunity allowed them to start from scratch and consolidate operations in one space.
Wolken stated that they agreed on a price of $400,000 for 30.82 acres, with a closing date set for April 1st. This purchase will enable the county to modernize its maintenance facilities and improve efficiency.
