Central PA sees surge in restaurant property deals with former flagships on market

    There are 30 commercial real estate transactions in 23 south-central Pennsylvania municipalities on our latest list. These newly leased or purchased spaces will be used for a variety of purposes, including restaurants, housing, warehouse space, office space, and retail.

    Cumberland County:

    - The property at 1924 Market St. in Camp Hill was sold to a mixed-use building with commercial and residential space.

    - Friendly's at 3125 Market St. in Camp Hill is closing, but will be replaced by Turning Point Restaurant.

    - A suite at 401 E. Louther St. in Carlisle has been leased to G&N Logistics.

    Dauphin County:

    - Bling Box Events opened at 415 St. John’s Church Road in Hampden Township.

    - Honeygrow leased 2,500 square feet of retail space at 5401 Carlisle Pike.

    - A medical practice will occupy the office building at 1007 Mumma Road in Wormleysburg.

    Harrisburg:

    - Sevansa Handmade leased 750 square feet of retail space at 210 Walnut St.

    - The former Stallions nightclub was sold and will be rebranded as "Karma".

    - Spring Gate Vineyard & Winery has been acquired by new owners who plan to continue operations without disruption.

    Lower Paxton Township:

    - A 60-acre farm estate, home to Spring Gate Vineyard & Winery, has been acquired.

    - The office at 840 Sir Thomas Court was sold and will be used by BTI Group.

    Middletown:

    - The former Tattered Flag facility was sold and will be offered for lease in the near future.

    Steelton:

    - Stewart Amos Equipment Company purchased a warehouse complex that will provide new capabilities and expansion of operations.

    Swatara Township:

    - Murphy Rentals sold the property at 2741-2771 Paxton St.

    - The investment property located at 6530 Derry St. has been sold to Thien Nguyen.

    Upper Paxton Township:

    - Edwards D. Jones & Co. leased 1,240 square feet of retail space at 1585 State Route 209.

    Lancaster County:

    - South County Brewing leased the former Pressroom space at 26 W. King St.

    - The Bread Pedaler leased 2,250 square feet of retail space at 1360-1380 Columbia Ave.

    - JP Morgan Chase Bank leased land at 1515 Lititz Pike.

    - Unique Style Design leased 1,071 square feet of retail space at 235 Bloomfield Drive.

    Lebanon County:

    - The restaurant property formerly known as Franz’s Tavern has been sold to Delta House LLC.

    York County:

    - Meier Supply Company purchased a 19,000-square-foot industrial property at 6 Pine St.

    - MacDal Associates purchased a manufacturing building at 1055 East Wellspring Road.

    - Town Graphics leased 19,860 square feet of industrial space at 100 Redco Ave.
