he Chicago Tribune's Top Workplaces list recognizes Chicagoland companies that excel in maintaining a high-performance culture. The ranking is based on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey, divided into three categories: large companies (1,000+ employees), mid-sized companies (250-999 employees) and small companies (fewer than 250 employees).
Residential real estate brokerages dominated the top spots in both the large and mid-sized company categories. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago took the No. 1 spot among large companies for the third year in a row, citing its professional, fun, and inclusive culture as key factors.
Dream Town Real Estate topped the list of mid-sized companies, highlighting its emphasis on professional development, employee appreciation, and overall well-being. Other notable real estate firms that made the list include @properties Christie's International Real Estate at No. 2 among large companies, and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Starck Real Estate at No. 3 among mid-sized companies.
In the small company category, several real estate firms and lenders also made the list, including john greene Realtor at No. 3, Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation at No. 8, and Inland Real Estate Investment Corporation at No. 14.
