hris Heller, former CEO of Keller Williams Realty International (KWRI), and his real estate team are joining eXp Realty, as announced on Tuesday. Over the past three decades, Heller's team has sold over 4,400 homes.
Heller and Leo Pareja, eXp Realty's CEO, have a history of competition, but now they're reunited at a company that offers top producers autonomy, platform, and scale to build their businesses. "Chris' decision to join eXp is a validation of our model," Pareja said, "and a signal to the industry that iconic leaders are choosing agent ownership, collaboration, and innovation."
Heller has held various leadership roles, including CEO of KWRI and president of KW Worldwide. He stepped down as CEO in 2017 but remained an operating principal until 2020. Heller also served as CEO of mellohome and president of OJO Labs, which recently sold its listing portal Movoto to Lower.
Heller has been in touch with Glenn Sanford, eXp World Holdings' CEO, since leaving KW in 2017. He's impressed by eXp's growth and transformation over the years. "What drew me to eXp was the model, structure, leadership, and culture," Heller said.
