olliers has arranged a $34.3 million refinancing for the Custom House Block and Gardiner Building at Long Wharf in Boston, a mixed-use office and retail property located at 66 Long Wharf.
The Colliers team, led by Vice President Patrick Boyle and Co-Chairman Kevin Phelan, represented Capital Properties in securing financing from Grant Street Funding. The historic buildings, which date back to 1848 (Custom House Block) and 1760 (Gardiner Building), have been meticulously restored as part of a recent renovation project.
Capital Properties upgraded the properties into first-class office and retail space while preserving their architectural integrity and historical significance. Notable tenants include The Chart House, Project Worldwide, VMS Software, and Guggenheim, occupying 94% of the property.
This refinancing is one of several office financings recently arranged by Colliers Boston. Boyle notes that despite market uncertainty, lenders are showing renewed interest in high-quality, well-located office assets.
