$65.3 million deal in Brighton has set a new benchmark for apartment complex sales in the region. The Solaire apartment complex at 1287 S. 8th Ave. was purchased by MREI VI Solaire LLC from Brighton Multifamily DST.
In other notable transactions, Moreno Properties LLC acquired a 1.61-acre industrial property in Parker for $1.9 million, while Summit HC Real Estate LLC purchased a standalone building in Aurora for $1.22 million.
Commercial leasing activity remains strong, with several deals announced across the Denver metro area. IDS Georadar leased 32,237 square feet at 11111 W. 6th Ave. in Lakewood, and American Housing Ventures leased 3,696 square feet at 2000 S. Colorado Blvd. in Denver.
First Student Inc also secured a significant lease for 13,620 industrial square feet on a 1.77-acre property in Denver. Meanwhile, Defiance Health leased 1,695 office square feet at 7354 Alton Way in Centennial, and Farmers Insurance leased 1,140 office square feet at 4045 Wadsworth Blvd. in Wheat ridge.
In addition to these deals, several properties changed hands through deeds. 6295 Investments LLC purchased a property in Commerce City for $3.45 million, while PGC Holdings LLC acquired a site in unincorporated Arapahoe County for $2.6 million.
