A flurry of commercial transactions has taken place in Richmond and Henrico, with several notable leases and sales making headlines.
At the top of the list is a $2.75 million purchase by 10 S 14th LLC, which acquired 27 units at 8 & 10 S. 14th St. in Richmond. One South Commercial's Ryan Rilee and Lory Markham represented the seller.
Meanwhile, several businesses have expanded or relocated to new spaces. Luxury Furniture has leased 20,750 square feet at 1100 Dinwiddie Ave., while Veterans Fire Protection has added 8,286 square feet to its space at 8002 – 8030 Staples Mill Road in Henrico.
New Horizon Bank has subleased 6,970 square feet at 7231 Forest Ave. in Henrico, with One South Commercial's Ken Campbell and Chris Corrada representing the subtenant.
Other notable deals include:
* Angels on Earth Home Care and Transportation leasing 1,571 square feet at 2500 E. Parham Road in Henrico
* New Beginning Counseling & Therapy Services leasing 3,730 square feet at 4901 Fitzhugh Ave. in Henrico
* Video Services leasing 1,325 square feet at 5516 Falmouth St. in Henrico
* Titan Animations LLC and Rian-Hunter Production LLC leasing 2,500 square feet at 1521 W. Main St. in Richmond
* The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia leasing 4,620 square feet at 8700 Stony Point Pkwy. in Richmond
Additionally, several businesses have made smaller moves, including Kneaded Pressure, which leased 752 square feet at 1806 Chantilly St. in Richmond, and GRRE Richmond, which subleased 3,072 square feet at 3101 Ellwood Ave. in Richmond.
