rban Network Capital Group, led by Robert Thorne, has partnered with Compass to lead sales for its Visions at Brickell Station condo-hotel in Miami. The eight-story development will feature 110 units, including studios and one-bedrooms, starting at $501,000. Amenities will include a fitness center, spa facilities, restaurant, and business center, with all units fully furnished.
The project is part of a growing trend of condo-hotel developments in Miami, driven by recent legislative changes affecting the balance between unit and commercial owners. Thorne's company acquired the 0.3-acre site for $8.5 million in 2023 and has offices in several countries, including Coral Gables and Mexico City.
Condo-hotels like Visions aim to attract investors with their potential for rental income. Other projects, such as Cloud One Hotel & Residences in Wynwood and a proposed 80-story tower in Brickell, also feature condo-hotel units. The Florida legislature has been revising its laws governing condo-hotels, seeking to balance the interests of individual unit owners and commercial operators.
