eal Estate recently covered Elton John's 1973 hit "Daniel" at an album release show for their new self-titled album. The show was exclusive to those named Daniel or variations like Dan, Danny, or Danielle. They ended the night with a rendition of "Daniel", which caught the attention of Elton John himself.

    The band then performed the cover live on KEXP and have now officially released a studio version. This comes after they teased it on Twitter, saying they had recorded a cover of the classic hit. Fans in Europe and the UK may be able to hear it live during their upcoming tour, which starts today.
