Cumberland County Home Sales: April 2025 Market Prices

ew data from Realtor.com for April shows that home sale prices in Cumberland County, North Carolina, rose to a median of $246,250. This represents a 2.6% increase from the previous month's median of $240,000 and an 8% jump compared to April 2024's median of $228,000.

    Breaking down the numbers further, single-family homes saw a 3% increase in median sale price to $247,250 in April, up from $240,000 in March. Since April 2024, this figure has risen by 8.4%. Five single-family homes sold for over $1 million during the month.

    Condominiums and townhomes, however, experienced a decline of 12.2% in sales price to a median of $231,000 from $263,000 in March. Compared to April 2024, this figure is slightly down from $232,500.

    In Cumberland County, the number of recorded home sales dropped by 20% since April 2024, from 525 to 420. The total value of residential home sales was $132 million.

    Statewide, North Carolina saw a slight increase in median home sale price to $354,858 in April, up from $354,675 in March. However, the number of recorded sales decreased by 17% from 17,469 in April 2024 to 14,507 this year.

    The total value of residential home sales across North Carolina dropped by 39% from $12 billion in March to $7.3 billion in April. Only 6.92% of homes sold for over $1 million during the month, down from 8.95% in April 2024.

    Single-family homes statewide saw a median sale price decrease of 1.4% to $355,000 in April, while condominiums and townhomes experienced a 5.1% increase to a median of $350,000.
