ollywood Hills mansion once rented by singer D4vd is being readied for re‑listing. The 4‑bed, 4‑bath, 4,315‑sq‑ft property will rent for $20,000 a month, says agent Alex Micic. The exterior has just received a fresh green trim and new photos will be posted as further updates occur. Though not yet on the market, the house is “a work in progress,” Micic added.
The house is linked to the death of 15‑year‑old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Her body, dismembered and wrapped in plastic, was discovered in the trunk of D4vd’s Tesla, which had been parked less than half a mile from the rental in the Bird Streets area. Tow operators smelled a foul odor and alerted authorities in early September. D4vd vacated the home shortly after the body was found.
Police are investigating how long the vehicle sat on the street before being towed to Hollywood Tow. The teen had a history of running away and was found by the LAPD. D4vd and Rivas Hernandez were known to spend time together; the girl appeared with the singer at events and in photos. On September 17, the LAPD raided the property and seized “several items of evidence.”
Neighbors expressed sadness and hope for justice, noting no unusual activity had been observed. A realtor said new photos would be uploaded before the listing resumes. The homeowner, Malden Trifunovic, hired a crew to clear out clothes and boxes left behind, and a separate visit removed the rest of D4vd’s belongings.
D4vd, whose real name is David Austen Burke, 20, has been a suspect in the investigation, though no arrests have been made. He has stopped cooperating with detectives, and authorities suspect he may have had assistance in placing and dismembering the body. The Los Angeles medical examiner has not yet determined a cause of death, requesting additional testing.
The singer had been on a world tour when the body was found, with shows in Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles canceled amid the investigation. He frequently posted from the rental on his TikTok, where he boasts 3.9 million followers. In one clip, he sits on the kitchen island with the caption, “Valentines Day is 4 days away and you STILL don’t have a Valentine.”
