ark your calendars for April 24th, when the Dare County Tax Department is hosting a property revaluation information session at the Thomas A. Baum Senior Center in Kill Devil Hills. From 9 to 12 pm, three tax appraisal experts will be on hand to address any questions or concerns you may have about the recent 2025 property revaluation.

    Whether you're looking for guidance on filing an appeal, exploring property tax exclusions and relief programs, or simply want to understand how the revaluation affects your property taxes, this is your chance to get answers. Note that while staff will be happy to assist with completing your appeal form, this event is not a platform for in-person appeals.

    All residents and property owners are welcome to attend, and there's no need to RSVP – just drop by and take advantage of the opportunity to get informed and connected with the tax department.
