erek Carr's Southern Highlands estate sold for $8.55 million in September, making it the highest-priced sale in the valley that month. The buyer is a trust with Ronald Brown as trustee, a wealth management adviser for professional athletes. The property was listed by Stan Hicks of Coldwell Banker Premier and represented by Brandon Rosenthal of Simply Vegas.

    The estate features seven bedrooms, seven full baths, two partial baths, and an eight-car garage on 0.77 acres. The main house has five bedrooms, seven baths, and measures 8,628 square feet, while the casita has two bedrooms and two baths. The listing described the home as secluded and perfect for athletes or entertainers.

    The No. 2 sale in September was a $6.57 million transaction on Barney Street in the northwest valley. Marianne Barney sold the property to an LLC represented by Trent Taylor of Keller Williams MarketPlace. The estate sits on 14 acres, measures over 12,000 square feet, and features 12 bedrooms, eight baths, and a 10-car garage.

    The No. 3 sale was for $5.78 million on Lairmont Place in MacDonald Highlands. The buyers were the Dilandri Living Trust with Brendan and Jamie Dilandri as trustees. The two-story home measures 6,146 square feet, has four bedrooms, seven baths, and sits on 0.53 acres.

    The No. 4 sale was for $5.35 million in Seven Hills, where Michael and Maryse Mazanin bought the property from Pedro Saavedra. Dominik Neal of RE/MAX Legacy represented the seller, while Alese Morrow with MDB Realty represented the buyers. The home measures 10,871 square feet, has five bedrooms, eight baths, and sits on 0.68 acres.

    The No. 5 sale was for $4.95 million on Red Arrow Drive in Summerlin. Robert McBeath of Douglas Elliman of Nevada listed the property, which features four bedrooms, 5½ baths, and a three-car garage. The buyers were Zachary Bagans, represented by Rob Jensen of the Rob Jensen Co.

    According to Forrest Barbee, corporate broker for Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, there were 135 September sales on the Multiple Listing Service of $1 million and greater, surpassing the previous high of 129 in 2021. The third quarter saw 444 sales for homes over $1 million, a 12.8 percent increase from the same period last year.
