ell-known Sacramento real estate investor Ethan Conrad has responded to civil lawsuits alleging various sex-related offenses and battery. The first lawsuit was filed in November 2024, claiming Conrad laced a woman's drink with a drug before raping her. Two weeks later, another woman filed a suit, accusing Conrad of physically attacking her after she questioned him about the initial allegations.
Conrad has denied these claims, filing cross-complaints in both cases and stating that he had consensual sex with one of the women, who then lied to extort money from him. In an interview with KCRA 3, Conrad claimed that as a successful person, he's become a target for false accusations.
"I'm completely innocent," Conrad said, adding that the allegations have "no supporting documentation." He also mentioned having text messages and threads that prove his side of the story. Since the initial lawsuits were filed in 2024, three more women have come forward with similar claims, including one who alleges Conrad made sexual advances in exchange for employment.
Conrad has filed a cross-complaint in this case as well, stating that he and the woman had a previous dating relationship and never had nonconsensual sex. He also accused her of illegally recording him during private conversations. Two additional women have filed separate lawsuits claiming Conrad laced their drinks before raping them. The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office is investigating three cases involving claims against Conrad, including allegations of sexual abuse or domestic violence.
