Digital platform launched to curb inflated real estate costs

Türkiye to digitize real estate data, prevent excessive pricing and reduce tax losses.

T
urkey is developing a digital system to track real estate market values and prevent excessive pricing. The "Value Information Center" will be launched in Istanbul by 2026, then expanded nationwide.

The system will create detailed maps of land plots and property units, recording each property's market value. This aims to curb price distortions and manipulations in the housing and land markets.

Buyers can access an AI-powered platform displaying a property's true market value compared to similar properties nearby. The system will also map market values for each property and create digital city models through the "Three-Dimensional City Models Project".

This initiative provides essential data infrastructure for urban planning, taxation, disaster management, and infrastructure development. It is expected to significantly enhance disaster preparedness, particularly in provinces prone to disasters, according to Environment Minister Murat Kurum.

New digital platform launched to combat inflated real estate prices globally.
