rench DJ and record producer David Guetta has successfully sold his Miami Beach apartment for a whopping $16 million in an off-market deal that was finalized on Friday. The apartment measures approximately 2,521 square feet, making the buyer's purchase roughly $6,300 per square foot — a new record for Miami Beach and the second-highest price per square foot in Miami-Dade County, according to press materials.
The stunning 37th-floor unit offers breathtaking ocean and city views, providing a perfect spot for the Grammy-winning producer to unwind after a long day in the studio. Guetta purchased the property in 2018 for $9.5 million from billionaire businessman Richard LeFrak. The apartment features three bedrooms, two of which are primary suites, and three bathrooms, as well as motorized shades and a wrap-around balcony. The unit is equipped with Sonos speakers, providing an immersive audio experience for any gatherings or parties.
The Setai Hotel and Residences, where the apartment is located, is a 40-story building with 22 floors of condo units and several floors of two-story residences, as well as three stories of penthouses. The homes range in size from under 800 to over 3,000 square feet. The building offers a variety of amenities for residents, including three swimming pools, a landscaped resort area on the beach, gardens, a fitness center, a restaurant, and 24-hour valet parking and security.
Currently, there are other units available for purchase at the Setai, ranging in price from $14.9 million to $2.1 million, and rentals starting at $16,000 to $84,000 per month. The deal was brokered by Eloy Carmenate, Mick Duchon, and Joshua Winarick of Corcoran, who represented the undisclosed buyer. Michael Wiesenfeld of Corcoran represented Guetta in the transaction. Despite multiple attempts to reach out to the agents involved for comment, none of them responded to The Post's inquiries.
