n a ceremony held on February 1st, the Bay East Association of Realtors honored six exceptional members for their outstanding contributions to the real estate profession and their communities. These individuals embody the values of integrity, professionalism, and community involvement that define the association.
At the forefront of this group is Steve Medeiros, Realty Experts in Fremont's top performer, who received the coveted Realtor of the Year award. A 14-year Bay East member, Medeiros has made a lasting impact through his tireless advocacy for Realtor issues and his dedication to building relationships with local officials.
Huili Liao, Intero Real Estate Services in Fremont's rising star, was recognized as Rookie of the Year. Despite being new to the industry, Liao has already demonstrated exceptional integrity, adherence to the Realtor Code of Ethics, and a commitment to civic activity and business accomplishments.
Susan Munkner, Chase Bank's Platinum Affiliate member, took home the Platinum Affiliate of the Year award for her unwavering support of the real estate community. Through her involvement with the Women's Council of Realtors and Bay East's Tri-Cities Marketing Council, Munker has fostered meaningful relationships and improved educational events.
Sheila Cunha, Legacy Real Estate Associates in Pleasanton's esteemed leader, was awarded Outstanding Leader for her continued pursuit of excellence in the name of Bay East. A past president and current member of the C.A.R. Board of Directors, Cunha is a passionate advocate for home ownership and housing providers.
Jennifer Branchini, Compass in Pleasanton's dedicated professional, received the John Deadrich Distinguished Service Award for her selfless contributions to Bay East. As a mentor and leader, Branchini has advanced the profession at local, state, and national levels.
Lastly, Joe LoParo, Keller Williams Advisors in Alameda's Good Neighbor of the Year, was recognized for his tireless efforts to make a positive impact in his community. A veteran with over five decades of volunteer experience, LoParo has inspired others to become more involved in their communities through his dedication and compassion.
These individuals, along with Bay East's 6,000+ residential and commercial real estate professionals, form the backbone of the association's mission to serve others while supporting the Realtor community and real estate industry at large.
