T
he Boring Company, founded by Elon Musk, is planning to build a 32-unit apartment complex at 4300 Paradise Road in Las Vegas. The project will be located near a future station of the Vegas Loop, a 68-mile tunnel network for Tesla shuttles that's currently under construction.
The complex will feature a six-story, U-shaped building with amenities such as a bar and lounge, game room, gym, and outdoor courtyard. Due to the proximity of the loop station, the project plans to include only 24 parking spots, significantly fewer than the typical requirement. The justification letter filed with the county notes that the project is compatible with nearby resorts and hotel-casinos.
The site was purchased by Object Dash, a Boring affiliate, for $6.4 million in July. When completed, the Vegas Loop will have 104 stations across the resort corridor, Downtown Las Vegas, and other points of interest. The tunnel network is privately funded and aims to provide efficient transportation options for Tesla shuttles.
