Former Chicago Bulls star's home sells after reduced asking price

Scottie Pippen's Highland Park mansion sells after being on market for nearly two years.

A
Highland Park estate once owned by Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen has found a buyer. The 10,000-square-foot property, which Pippen purchased in 2004 and sold in 2021 for $1.8 million, is now under contract after being listed at $2.7 million or $270 per square foot. Ting Zhang of @properties Christie's International Real Estate manages the listing.

Located on nearly three acres at 3393 Old Mill Road, the two-story mansion features five bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, and dual stairways leading to the second floor. The property boasts several high-end amenities, including an indoor basketball court, wine cellar, movie theater, rec room, playroom, exercise room, infinity pool, spa, waterfall, waterslide, and large patio.

The home's most distinctive feature is its indoor gym with a basketball half-court, which previously displayed a rendering of Pippen's Bulls uniform. The space still retains Bulls red-and-black padding on the walls, paying tribute to Chicago basketball history. After being listed in December 2023 for $2.7 million and later reduced to $2.65 million, the property went under contract on September 24.
