downtown Fredonia apartment complex has changed hands in a recent real estate transaction. Parkview Collegiate Lofts, located at 5 E. Main St., was sold by Rom Real Estate Holdings, LLC of Fredonia to Kristine Matteson for $165,000.
In the same time period, two private residents were sold for seven-figure prices: 9 N. Lake Drive in Chautauqua Institution went for $2,347,500 and 5457 Bly Hill Road in North Harmony was sold for $1,295,000.
Other notable sales include:
* 36 Scott Ave. in Chautauqua Institution sold for $882,250
* 4562 Waterboro Hill Road in Ellington sold for $810,000
* 4922 Pittsburgh Ave. in Chautauqua town sold for $379,000
* 4850 Potter Road in Chautauqua town sold for $370,000
A total of seven sales exceeded $250,000 during the period from August 8-15. There were 90 transactions in all, with a full list available.
