akeland Community College invites students, community members, and industry professionals to its free Real Estate Information Night on October 2 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the T-Building atrium. Attendees will connect with local real estate experts from top firms such as Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, Howard Hanna, and Keller Williams.
The event will cover essential topics like licensure, income potential, work-life balance, and career development. Local firms interested in participating can contact Program Chairperson Connie Golden to reserve a spot. According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, the real estate sector is expected to experience significant growth over the next decade, with median pay reaching $56,620 per year.
"We're bringing together aspiring professionals and seasoned experts to share their knowledge and experiences," said Golden. Lakeland faculty will also be on hand to discuss the college's online real estate certificate programs, which include agent and broker certificates available fully online for greater flexibility.
