n Oct 15 2025, Frisco announced a 1,000‑acre site west of DNT and east of Legacy Dr. Crossland Construction Co. will build 68 acres of infrastructure, a lake, trails, ecological upgrades and amenities for $1.1 million. The plan splits the site into Civic Park, Adventure Play, Sports Park, Botanic Gardens, and a nature‑trail zone. Phase 1, on the north side, will feature Civic Park with a pond, sculpture garden. Phase 2, on the south end, will house a nature center. Construction is slated for completion in Q2 2027.
