uthie Lyons is a 39-year-old realtor and owner of The Lyons Collective by Realty Executives Associates. Her journey to success wasn't straightforward - she balanced evening classes, full-time work, and family responsibilities while thriving in marketing and sales within the hospitality industry. A pivotal moment led her into real estate, where she excelled as an award-winning agent, exceeding sales targets and leading her own team.

Lyons is now expanding her brand globally while continuing to serve her local community through her role at Wesley House Community Center. She's passionate about helping people build generational wealth through real estate.

I'm Ruthie Lyons, a realtor with The Lyons Collective by Realty Executives Associates. I started my career in 2007 working at a hotel front desk and eventually ran my own sales department. In 2019, I transitioned to full-time real estate sales, which has given me an incredible life and allowed me to help people build wealth.

My greatest achievement is leaving my corporate job for real estate, which was both scary and rewarding. It led to exponential personal growth and I'm proud of myself for taking the leap.

The biggest obstacle I overcame was realizing I was burnt out in sales due to what I was selling, not the sales itself. Switching to real estate helped me feel fulfilled as it aligned with a bigger purpose.

In 2025, I'll focus on expansion, creativity, and impact through my lifestyle brand. My ultimate dream is for my brand to reach people worldwide, showcasing more than just real estate.

I've learned that focusing on personal goals while helping others achieve theirs is crucial in business. Failure motivates me to keep moving forward.

The most overrated advice I've heard is that you need a big-box brand or brokerage to be successful - it's not the name that matters, but work ethic and business smarts.

I value tenacity in coworkers, as it leads to amazing results when we match effort. In Knoxville, I'd like to see more diversity in decision-making roles for the city.

Many people don't know I'm an introvert who's learned to become extroverted when needed. My family includes my husband Terrence, daughter Fatima, and mom Valerie Love.
