Giuliani Lists NYC Apartment with $1.4M Price Reduction

Former mayor lists Manhattan home for under $5.2 million, a $1.4 million price reduction from its previous listing.

R
udy Giuliani is parting with his Manhattan home, listing it for under $5.2 million after a significant price cut from its previous listing of over $6.3 million. The former mayor's decision comes as he has settled his high-profile lawsuit with two Georgia election workers.

Giuliani had been embroiled in a legal battle with Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, who sued him for defamation over claims made during the 2020 presidential election. A judge recently declared that Giuliani had "fully satisfied" his end of a settlement agreement, which would have forced him to hand over valuable assets, including this Upper East Side penthouse.

The three-bedroom, three-bathroom dwelling boasts rare amenities in Manhattan's luxury market, such as a wood-paneled library and glassed conservatory. The white-glove co-op charges residents a monthly maintenance fee of $10,934 for services like porters and door attendants. This is not the first time Giuliani has listed his penthouse, which was initially priced at $6.5 million before undergoing three price reductions.

Giuliani's decision to sell comes after he made a last-ditch effort to offload the property at a discounted rate before it could be seized by Freeman and Moss. The two parties reached a settlement earlier this year, with Giuliani retaining his possessions in exchange for an undisclosed amount of compensation.
